Also I wanted to say that I'll be going through and updating allot of my old photos. I re-scanned them and gave them a good cleaning. I think they turned out loads better!

edit: I decided I'll do a kiriban @ 100K. Even though I've been here for, like, ever~ its still a pretty good milestone nya? so wheeeen it gets there take a screen shot and note it to me with what you would like to have drawn, it will be one character, 1/2 body: colorness~

I noticed you tend to use more vibrant versions of the base color for shading, try using darker colors instead (generally by adding black, but be careful with that, if you just add straight up black to the color it can look dirty ) so maybe darker with some black, but also at the same time move it towards a cooler color (cooler colors tend to fall back more than warm, which aids in the purpose of shading )

So, basically just use cooler colors, and darker colors of what I already use?

What about my shading problem? D: Some of my pictures don't have any, and the ones that do have shading are just... epic fail to me. Any suggestions on that?
